Forecast and update rules
Scores, schedules and available odds refresh from a cloud source every five minutes. This page checks for a fresh snapshot every two minutes while visible; the countdown shows the next page check, not a guaranteed source update.
Forecasts remain PROVISIONAL unless validated. Revise until 30 minutes before start, then freeze scores and percentages. Preserve every version and actual issue time. Late news appears separately with a hold, downgrade or pass assessment.
Research completion measures documented checks, not accuracy. Keep outcome probabilities, research completeness and historical calibration separate. Money-versus-ticket splits do not establish verified sharp action.
MLB checks: starting pitchers, confirmed batting orders and scratches, bullpen workload, park and weather, and exact moneyline, run line and total. Missing evidence and unavailable forecasts stay visible.
Probability is one scale. Action is another.
